The food was delicious and the service was extremely fast and friendly. They were busy, but everyone seemed to know their job and the whole place ran smooth. We were in a hurry and even at the noon Saturday lunch rush we were in and out in about 20 minutes. Very impressive and yummy.

Have been going here for 20 years since they were out at the Y. I have never had a problem with the food or service here. My family used to go here once a week at least. For those of you saying the food has no flavor i think you are looking for texmex not traditional Mexican food. Enunzio, Sergio, Alonzo; yall keep on doing what you are doing.

I'm sad we live out by Stillwater. Went swimming on the Illinois River today, stopped in for dinner on the way home & so not sorry! Hands down some of the best food I've ever eaten. My husband will not stopping about how delicious it was. I will make a special trip to eat here again!!

Good for the priceEdit: what I mean by that is I usually only get the same thing when I go (nachos) and while I have no complaints about the flavor I do often find the excessive juices from the meat tend to make my chips extra soggy... But I'm well aware this is difficult to stop... And it's by far not expensive... so for the price I pay its ok, not my favorite but definitely not bad

Love El Zarape! The salsa is really good and I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve had on the menu. I usually order the beef tip quesadilla. It’s salty but very good.

There food there is not great and prices are way to high i had a was supposed to be a chicken quesadilla and some red chile sauce that by the way was awful the quesadilla was folded in half and i have always had mine with two tortillas not one and i was charged for salsa i have never been charged for salsa before the rice was dry and the beans tasted like they were from a can so sorry to say I will not be returning ever again it was nowhere near what I expected and my family is from Mexico so i expected so much more but was let down so in saying this is why I give you this review on the food. have a pleasant day .

This is one of the place I miss about Tahlequah the most! (Aside from family and some friends...) Mom and I were back in the area a couple of months ago, and this is the place we HAD to go to. The chips are thin and crispy, the salsa is great!We had the chicken soup - and it was fantastic as usual! Service was good, people were helpful and friendly - the same family has had this place for YEARS. If you're a local, you already know it's great - if you're passing through, give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely horrible service!! I will not go back again! First of all we had no menus for at least 5 to 10 minutes we had to seat ourselves and then they served our food in to go containers when we were dining in! I will seriously discourage anyone to go here anymore!

Came into town from Tulsa, happened upon this restaurant. Very pleased, will definitely come back. I'm very picky they altered the menu item to fit my picky tastebuds. Would highly recommend. Customer service excellent as well.

Loved this restaurant. We ordered fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, white queso and guacamole. Everything was delicious and everything came out quick. It's a small place but the food is great. The employees are friendly and attentive as well. Will definitely return if in the area in the future.

Where to start... they can't make a corn cheese quesadilla to accommodate a gluten free diet.I ordered a cheese quesadilla with chicken, apparently you need to order no veggies, not just chicken and cheese. my bad.never did get it, but my friend did! if you have a large group, make sure they separate the tickets because they don't know what you order when you pay and someone forgot to pay for an item, so it cost the tip of the waitress because they said, you aren't leaving until it's paid.Tahlequah has a mask mandate but apparently it doesn't apply to the servers, cooks and cashier.So take a risk. Thankfully, we went early so not many people but honestly should have left... we would have been better off somewhere else!
